Lakeland Public Television (LPTV) is seeking a full-time web site developer to manage and grow our web presence. We’re a stable organization with a staff of 30 that has a rich 34 year history serving northern and central Minnesota. Here at LPTV, you can not only make a living doing what you love, you can also work in a challenging, fast paced, fun environment and help us to provide important public media programming and services to the region.

For this special position, real web skills, quality work, and the desire to learn is more important than advanced formal education. WordPress, PHP, CSS, some Java Script, and Photoshop experience is required. My SQL experience is preferred. Web video and YouTube skills a plus. Salary depends on your qualifications. Benefits include generous PTO, paid holidays and 21% of salary for flex benefits.

Development Specialist

Come enjoy the great outdoors! Lakeland Public Television is located in the heart of Minnesota‚Äôs beautiful lake country. Forward thinking small market PBS station in Northern Minnesota seeks outgoing, progressive, and highly motivated team player to cultivate, solicit and secure support and major gifts from individuals, corporations, community organizations and private foundations. Duties include grant writing, and soliciting prospects and current supporters for operating support, major gifts, planned giving, endowment, and capital campaign. Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred with three years non-profit fundraising/grant writing experience highly desirable. Knowledge of public broadcasting and non-profit operations preferred.

Lakeland has a long history of stability with an excellent board and staff. We are moving into a new headquarters, have no debt, a solid cash position, and the start of an endowment fund. We have a strong community presence with an emphasis on local service, including our own local nightly news. Salary $30-$38k depending on experience. Excellent benefits including generous PTO and funded flex account for health, life, and retirement.
