Browerville Girls’ Basketball Headed Back to State

The Browerville Girl’s Basketball team is roaring, heading to the Class A state tournament as the Section 5A Champs for the second straight year. The Tigers are 28-1 on the season, and head in to the tournament on an 18 game winning streak. But it was the 52-50 win in the section final that really defined the team, and their season. They’ll square off with Minneota in their first game, a team averaging 73 points per game, and also the team who knocked them out of last year’s tournament.

While the team is excited about getting back to state for the second straight year, they know they have to stay focused, because their first game is all about revenge. And last year the team motto was to be like a sponge and absorb everything at State, but this year, it’s time to let it all out.
