Construction Booms Brainerd’s Development

There’s construction around the Brainerd Lakes Area… a lot of it from new medical centers and updated sports arena to new housing. There’s new development throughout the Brainerd Lakes Area. Although development might have been slow to return, our late dip into the recession may be the reason.
A sign that our economy is coming back is when businesses are starting to expand.
An active Nor-Son construction site like this new surgery center at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby has anywhere from 47 to 56 workers here everyday.
Nor-Son says they’ve seen their construction projects go up 7 and a half percent since last year. And that trend looks to continue across the Brainerd Lakes Area.
Look for more hard hats and earthmovers to be viable, especially if we get a seasonably warmer winter.
