Sensational Sweet Strawberry Soup

1 cup milk
1/2 cup 1/2 & 1/2
1/4 cup sour cream or Greek-style yogurt
2 cups frozen strawberries
Honey, if needed to sweeten the soup
a few leaves of fresh basil plus more for garnishing the soup
Dark chocolate, grated, for serving

Place milk, 1/2 & 1/2, sour cream and strawberries in blender. Puree until smooth. Taste. Add honey if needed. Tear basil leaves into pieces and add to blender. Puree.
Pour soup into bowls. Top with grated dark chocolate and fresh basil. Makes about 4 cups.

Sue’s Tip

If you can stand to wait to eat the soup, refrigerate it overnight–the flavor will be well-balanced and so delicious!
