Through The Lens: A program that allowed anyone interested the opportunity to produce their own episode of a television program

From 2002-2013, Lakeland PBS offered anyone interested the opportunity to produce their own television program with Through the Lens. Anyone with an idea for a program they wanted to produce could apply with a two-page description of their idea, qualifications, and explanation of why they should be loaned a digital camera and editing equipment. Those selected were given the opportunity to learn about the process of production and how to create a program for broadcast. The resultant Through the Lens episodes are their productions.
