Pillager Area Family Center is looking to fill their shelves

July is open your heart to hungry and homeless month and the Pillager Area Family Center is looking to raise $5,000 this month to help keep their shelves food during the summer months with kids home from school.
The food shelf says they’re able to give a couple hundred people in their area about three days worth of food. And during July monetary donations are matched.
The Pillage Area Family Center is also working to expand their food shelf to serve their growing community.
Last year Minnesota for shelves raised over a million dollars during the Food Shelf Challenge Grant. This year they hope to raise $5,000 to receive their full match.
