State Representative-Elect Heintzeman Will Have Effect on Brainerd Lakes Area

After upsetting incumbent John Ward of District 10A in November, Republican Josh Heintzeman is getting ready to take on his new term. Heintzeman was named Vice-Chair of the Minnesota House Legacy Funding Finance Committee, and he has some big plans for his term in office.

Cleaning up Minnesota lakes would not only be beneficial for the entire state, but would help the Brainerd Lakes Area as well its tourism experience, tremendously. Heintzeman also says connecting with local issues is at the top of his list. And one of those issues includes clearing the Brainerd lakes of invasive species
