Grand Rapids Community Votes ‘No’ on Idea of Two New Schools

65% of voters were strongly opposed to the idea of two new schools being built in Grand Rapids District 318, while 34% were in favor. The referendum vote comes after four years of committee work to alleviate problems of overcrowding in elementary classrooms.

Red Lake Nation Heads to the Polls to Vote Yes or No to Alcohol at Casinos
