X Boat Inland Championship Regatta sets sail on Gull Lake this week

Setting sail for a weekend of fun. Over 70 boats from around the Midwest have come to Gull Lake this weekend to compete in the X Boat Inland Championship Regatta. The competition features two fleets senior and junior for kids ranging between 10 to 16 years old.
For most at the regatta sailing is a family tradition and they’re looking forward to a weekend filled with fun on the lake.
This weekend’s sailors are excited to put their years of training on their home lakes to the test. And they say this kind of competition is different from most sporting events.
Regardless of who wins, with a forecast of sunny skies and good breezes, these kids are sure to have a great time on Gull Lake.
